I'm lucky in that my OH is my best friend and lover all rolled in to one. We have such a warped sense of humour and the slightest thing can start us both laughing. We always seem to know what the other one is thinking too!

Right theory. Society never understand the friendship between male and female. :(

Hi Toni - Thanks for stopping by and leaving such a lovely comment:> You warmed my day! I like this simple composition, and I like the thought... Of course men and women can be friends! I've had many male friends over the years, and my DH was "just" a friend for quite some time before we became romantic. So now I have the best of both - friend and lover! BTW, I was sure that quote belonged to Anais Nin, but couldn't find it to verify it. I shall take your word for it and change the attribution on my blog. Have a gret day!

You got it goin' on, girl! Love the contrast on this piece. I have to agree with this theory... men and women can not be friends. That's why y'all married each other! lol!

Another theory debunked!
This is great - I like the stark design and the tension between the two sides.

Thanks for visiting my blog. x

I can never decide if I agree with this theory or not! It reminds me of that part in "When Harry Met Sally"... I love that movie!

Love the graphic style and the idea.
It's something I contemplate often, as many of my friends are men... There is always some ambiguity in those friendships, I suppose.
Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving such a lovely comment!

Great post and graphic! This theory also crossed my mind. In fact this theory usually tests out in my life.

Great concept! I love the color scheme, so powerful, and the match between the two characters and the written, so dynamic. Many compliments for the whole blog!
