My First ATC

For those of you not in the know, an ATC is an Artist's Trading Card -- officially supposed to be 2½ x 3½ inches. ATCs are for trading only, not for selling -- it's a means to acquire art by other artists, and to spread your own artistic love around. I never wanted to do them because the size specifications felt too small for me -- I have SUCH big hands! Then I bought the Artist Trading Card Workshop book, packed to the gills with such fabulous techniques, that I could no longer stay away from ATC's! I just had to try some of the ideas I read!! [This book, combined with the 2 articles I've seen on 'Inchies', have proved irresistible.] Anyway, this is a picture of the ATC I did first, and which I sent to Veronica (description in a prior blog entry).
