More Field Day - Oh, The Stabs of Nostalgia!!

I used to love doing this with a big mud puddle in the middle. Why don't we adults get off our lard butts and do more of this? Giggle & carry-on & play games ... key word: PLAY!! Chris says Ciera is taller than everyone in her first grade class except one other girl, and also taller than most of the 2nd and 3rd graders. Well, consider: Chris himself (& his twin, Cam) is 6'-4"; I'm 5'-10", my maternal Grandpa was 6'-3" ... I hope she never never never becomes self-conscious about it! In this picture, it must be said, Ciera looks exactly like her Aunt Toni. Really strange sensation!
Strategizing? Scoping out the competition? Do they make bags big enough for tall adults to race?

Love field day! You can see that Ciera towers over her classmates! It's so cool to be tall now, I don't think it's the same as when we were her age. I'm not quite 5'5", I wish I were a bit taller, but oh well.
The Animas River stamp from Creative Play Stamps is here: http://creativeplaystamps.com/animas-river-p-538.html Hurry, they are having a sale for the next few days!

Oh she looks like she had the best time ever. I remember those days we would all get a sack lunch with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Oh to be so young again.

What fun pictures! I don't think girls are self conscious about their height anymore. I have a step daughter, and a step-daughter-in-law (type that ten times fast!) who are both just shy of six feet- they're gorgeous and they know it.

Cierra is a beautiful little girl- thanks for sharing the pics. you're right - we do need to have more fun!
