Finished Canvas - Great Grandmother's Dress

I've been dying to do something with a) this vintage flocked wallpaper Patty gave me, and b) this color palette. When I saw this image in Arts et Decorations magazine, I was there. The old ledger paper also came from Ms. Patty. The old black & white photo came from my work buddy, Greg. The canvas is roughly a 12" x 16" matboard base, which also came from Greg and his wife, Gwen. It pays to have artistic friends in high places! The tissue paper on the dress form is actually blank pattern-making paper, that I scored at Good Will. The layers of tissue paper float away from the base. I love that small movement in the piece. A favorite rubber stamp, bought after my second trip to Tuscany.
