10-Minute Art? Journal Pages?

I liked this magazine image, but I didn't get to the place inside me with this page.
Nebraska on my mind, due to My Beloved Aunt Judy's pictures. One of my ongoing daydreams is to spend a year living in the little town near my aunt, near where my Grandpa & Grandma's farm is, in a rural environment, slowed down. My biggest problem is my absolute terror of tornados, & Nebraska do be having some o'those! Wherever I lived would have to have a basement, and I would have to have my bedroom down there. The wallpaper strip on the right side is from Patty and really strikes my Nebraska-nostalgic chord, so it is perfectly placed here. Precocious photo from Patty, reminds me of Miss Gulch in The Wizard of Oz, on a wagon instead of a bicycle. JUST the person needed to ask this question, 'What rules?!' But this one doesn't feel finished to me. We shall see what more Miss Gulch might have to say. She's got me intrigued with the colors and attitude, but she's definitely not done expressing herself.

Nice work Toni. I'll have to show my young sons your Ms Gulch. They are in love with the Wizard of OZ, and Margaret Hamilton is their favorite actor.

Thanks for your comments on my 100%guy. Feel free to link!

Very cool pages! And I should set a timer everyday to do one journal page. I can probably do it in 5 - 10 minutes and if I can't then I could learn right?

Amy -- these all started with "10-minute" limits, but truth is -- most go beyond that! It's just a mental trick to get me going when I feel stuck. TRY IT! It's fun. I use ripped out magazine pages as the base.
