Travel Doll

I've been working (mostly pondering over) this 'doll' for almost 11 months now. I worked on 2 rows of the 'skirt' (the portion with all the 'petals' forming the tiers of a skirt) 9 months ago, then hung it on a wall because I got stuck. For the last 6 weeks, I've been hearing her voice again, so I moved her over my studio desktop and spent a lot of time with Zoe in my lap, gazing at the doll. Finally, this past weekend, I took her down and finished the skirt, and also started the lacy piece, which is meant to become an apron. So far 'she' has given me no word about what's next, except that I know some very small (4") whisks will be her arms, with ribbons laced through the whisk end like poofy sleeves on a dress -- the whisk end will be her 'shoulders', attached somehow. I don't have a clue about her head, her torso, nothing else, so I guess I'll finish what I can and await the next visitation, huh?
